That is about the most stupid thing I have ever seen written.

1. There is more to investing than leverage.
2. BRK would pay a dividend if they wanted.
3. SSO can't sell or merge assets.

I won't even address #1 it is so ridiculous

#2. Whether a dividend is paid or not makes no difference. In case you don't know it, if a stock pays a say $1 dividend, the price goes down $1 at the open. Nothing is gained by a dividend being paid.

#3. There were 28 companies replaced in the S&P last year, so the mix of stocks in SPY and SSO is forever changing.

Like I said I have nothing again BRK, I think if one wants to invest in it great. But it is not the only way to go. I know you own stocks outright so you are in no way practicing what you are preaching.
