I started my seedlings indoors, using compost from my pile for the soil. I've noticed that every time I take a plant out to put in the garden, there are tons of tiny little earthworms in the bottom of the container. The first couple of containers, I thought it was a fluke. I couldn't help but notice, all of them have it. I know there weren't any worms in that soil when I put them in containers. The worms laid eggs in the compost and they hatched with the plants.
