I know movies are different, but just to show the potential of Garfield as a franchise, the first movie in 2004 made over $200 million dollars, and then second in 2006 over $160 million. And those were pretty terrible movies, but my kids love them and I own both! That said, if this game is half decent, with the presumably much lower production cost, the possibility of huge earnings are definitely still there and Garfield is still popular enough to drive them forward, plus the Pokémon Go style of gaming is still new and exciting. Combined we could be looking at a powerhouse money maker here.
