But your points are moot. DVME is no longer a entity which can be traded at all. It's worthless. There is no set date for market. That's up to the company at this point. Just got off the horn with 2 of my brokerages. DVME was ineligible to trade before I even posted the finra news on the 24th. I couldn't even put in a pre sell order because both of them said they have no idea what the new issue pps would open at. That makes sense.
And to another conversation about open prices, whatever your remaining stock after the split is worth per share only relates to your account and does not reflect what the stock will be on the market. The stock will open using the corporate's ratio and price listing on whatever particular day it falls on.
Your account value can state .40 or whatever, but the pps can be lower on the open. And one will only be able to sell the new issue.
Some brokers may have already changed the name in your account. Some don't until it settles.
