WASHINGTON, April 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Affinity Beverage Group, Inc wholly owned subsidiary, Village Tea Company teas will be a featured ingredient in a new craft beer, called Georgia Tea Party Sweet Tea Amber Ale produced by Eagle Creek Brewing Company based in Statesboro, GA. Eagle Creek selected Village Tea because it wanted to use a higher quality organic black tea that would add more natural tea flavor to its already great tasting product. Eagle Creek produces several award winning craft beers that are sold in beer and wine retailers across the state of Georgia. The Sweet Tea Amber Ale is one of the breweries top selling beers and what says Summer in the South better than Sweet Tea and cold beer. The new production run featuring Village Tea should be available just in time for those long, hot summer days.

According to the Brewers Association (BA), in 2015, craft brewers produced 24.5 million barrels, and saw a 13 percent rise in volume and a 16 percent increase in retail dollar value. Retail dollar value was estimated at $22.3 billion, representing 21 percent market share. "We are honored that Eagle Creek selected our tea, as this sort of collaboration fits squarely in line with our mission to introduce more people to loose leaf tea in non-traditional ways. This is also a great opportunity for us to tap into the excitement and creative energy around the ever expanding US craft beer market and potentially other ready to drink tea based products that appeal to millennials who are constantly looking for new and innovative beverage options that organically appeal to their lifestyles and sensibilities, similar to what we were able to do in the craft spirit sector with the development of Carmen Brown Sweet Tea Rum which featured our Vanilla Rooibos as a key ingredient stated Janon Costley". The Company is currently working with a group on the re-launch of Carmen Brown as well as exploring other similar brand extension opportunities, collaborations and cross promotion opportunities.
