It may be time for the Company to ZAG a little (in my opinion).

The ZIG has been the development of a consumer brand. Perhaps whats here is a more basic "pancakes on demand" product offering in which case they could pursue food service customers instead of retail. This may involve filling re-usable canisters similar to cola syrup. I see a large market for hotels that offer the do-it-yourself waffles at their "complimentary" breakfast.

There is another advantage here for food service establishments. Unless batters are used soon after mixing, product quality diminishes over time. Pancakes on demand reduce waste and labor costs.

Also, when sold in bulk, one would expect the cost per pancake to decrease to a very competitive price.

A final appeal to food service would be the "sustainability" buzz. Depending on the customer, this could be the offering's biggest selling point.

Heck, maybe they should just try and give the cans they have now directly to hotels. See what the market thinks. Worry about repeat sales later.
