President Trump Just Fired Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy. The NRA And Gun Owners Thank Him.

There was dispute when Obama first nominated Murthy. The NRA is against Dr. Murthy as Surgeon General because he holds anti-gun beliefs, which he has made known on Twitter.

He founded an organization that supports Obama. Doctors for America was formerly known as Doctors for Obama. It’s an organization of 16,000 doctors and medical students whose goal is improving health-care access…yet he was totally for Obamacare.



The Department of Health and Human Services made this statement:

Dr. Murthy had been asked to resign, and that he would be replaced temporarily by Rear Adm. Sylvia Trent-Adams, the current deputy Surgeon General.

“Today, Dr. Murthy, the leader of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, was asked to resign from his duties as Surgeon General after assisting in a smooth transition into the new Trump Administration,” the statement said.

“Dr. Murthy has been relieved of his duties as Surgeon General and will continue to serve as a member of the Commissioned Corps,” the statement continued, adding that Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price “thanks him for his dedicated service to the nation.”



The firing of Dr. Murthy was essential in keeping with the policies of the Trump Administration. President Trump is starting to furnish the American people with a better healthcare system. I am sure Dr. Murthy is a fine doctor, as his friends say, but he is in defiance of the needs of the American citizens.

We do not want to lose our Second Amendment Rights, because there are those who actually think guns are the problem. The problem is if a gun falls into the hands of an individual who uses it as a tool to commit a crime. A gun is a tool that can be used to save a life or to lose a life, but it is the tool in the hands of man, similar to a hammer or a knife.

As a society, to blame guns for a crime instead of the individual who uses that gun to commit a crime, is a totally false mindset. Yet the Obama Administration embraced this mindset, which speaks for itself.

But even more troubling is the fact that the same Administration has been said to have participated in the crime known as gun running. This Administration is criminal in itself and have tried to blame the evil actions of a populace not on the morals of the populace; instead on the tools of that populace.

There is no place in the Trump Administration for those seeking to take away the Second Amendment Rights of the American people. Goodbye, Dr. Murthy, take care and tell Obama to leave President Trump and the American people alone.
