Yea, but let's say this technology does take off and it so simple every one has one. So every one is now making hydrogen, more hydrogen than being consumed and turning back to drinking water than what are the children going to drink when water become scarce.

Heck we have periods of times though out the year in parts of our country already where there isn't enough drinking water to go around. Also in those areas where there isn't enough drinking water there usually isn't much waste water either.

Some will say look at all the water in the oceans. The majority of hydrogen producers will be no where near the oceans.

That is the only point needed to realize the threat we face from the entrenched fossil fuel industry to our and our children's future and daily lives.

Not to mention every lunatic would have the potential of building a bomb in their back yard.

What's the point of having it if your going to be exposed to dangerous amounts of the sun's radiation, suffering the effects of diminished oxygen in the atmosphere, or world wide food shortages due to mass extinctions of fish?? Doesn't sound like a good time.
