Just for the heck of it, a few weeks ago I emailed George Miller the trustee and asked anatabine's use in Roskamp's (Dr. Crawford) research on GFI and TBI would be considered in evaluating the worth of the IP. I was just throwing stuff out there and hoping for the best. No response. I occasionally look at the status list on the trustee's website and, while I can't say I ever memorized the whole list of BK companies, it seems the list has not changed much. It gave me the impression that this whole process takes a long time.
As for Dr. Mullan, whatever he does now is only in the interest of Roskamp and Archer. I would think he'd be interested in owning the IP for anatabine and getting it as cheaply as possible. One could certainly view him as now being in an adversarial position with RCPIQ shareholders. He is also a shareholder, but I think his interest in just owning the IP would supercede that.
If this bankruptcy, which includes placing a value on the IP, continues long enough, maybe Roskamp's continued research on GFI and TBI will get some attention for anatabine and affect the value of the IP.
