No, that would be a brilliant move.

- Apple would be able to buy Tesla with cash and still have massive reserves
- Tesla, while being able raise funds for R$D, have a massive working capital challenge ahead. Apple can fix that.
- Apple got the global distribution network in place that Tesla still needs to roll out
- Musk, on the other hand, brings innovation back to Apple.
- Musk as successor of Jobs could be personally very rewarding to him. Cook is a much better COO than CEO.
