"These guys know more about this technology than any other but they gotta step up"

They used to. As other posters noted, VOC identification ain't such a huge deal at this edge of the tech frontier any more, and they know it. Every tech in history has eventually been refined down to a ho-hum standard within x amount of time, and if you need something concrete to understand how that works in this industry try Cannabix and Hound Labs. Hound Labs, which is RIGHT in California where ONE of this group's bases is, has been buddying up with the state troopers for fieldwork and application refinements. We've got Scripps but where is that in the short term? And that's a sh&t-ton of useful knowledge that presumably we don't have that Hound Labs does. Or are we going to swoop into that market with less field study and suddenly just be better and have the contracts with those state troopers? Or are we getting in with the municipalities alone? And if we do have oodles of field data to confirm its accuracy in a mobile setting, where the H has that been in the company releases? Industry secrecy for what? Either way, there are reasons for trust issues here and they linger. I don't expect perfection in a tough game like this but it's a remarkable trajectory to try and succeed with, or call "smart".

We will see how they've situated themselves with respect to investors on the money train with time. My concern is that it'll play out like the old-timey movies, where the bad guy lifts the train car linch pin and waves as his train of goodies pulls away. The company move to Delaware, the private Nanobeak that was created with a special non-dilutable share type, these decisions make me think back to that movie scene. We will see. I have a position but I remain unconvinced we'll see results, "step up" indeed.

What's your view Bogwon?
