Some thoughts on one of your earlier points:

My question to you.....who is the biggest Mongolian Miner in the nation...that is also listed on the HK exchange and has a ADR placed here(OTC). Not state owned..be it foreign...but Mongolian owned.

Only one.....so be it....irrational exuberance will come in handy on the back end of this one.

I may be misunderstanding your point here, but ...

If the powers that be in Mongolia had any power to prop up the stock price, why did the stock go from $6-7 HKD in 2010/2011 to under $0.30 HKD now? Why did they wait so long to intervene?

As much national pride as they may have in the biggest coal miner in the nation, they don't have any sway over global coal prices. And, frankly, their inability to strike a huge win-win deal with the Chinese over Tavan Togloi doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in their powers of influence.

Let's remember that in a mere 3-4 years, Mongolia's bureaucrats took a high-growth economy into recession with absolutely asinine anti-growth policies and fiscal recklessness. Granted, the party that presided over that debacle is currently on the back bench, but nevertheless.

Don't underestimate Mongolia's ability to seize defeat from the jaws of victory.
