Let's say you'll buy ten thousand shares at $0.01 ($100 worth) and it goes down to 0.0001 and it splits 100/1 and you now own a hundred shares worth 0.01 and it goes down again to 0.0001 and it splits again 1/100 and you'll own 1 share after two R/S worth 0.01 cents.

if they would reverse it, they would need to do a 10.000/1 forward split. It would bring you back to $100. But indeed I don't think that could happen because suddenly due to all the shares that where minted they would have 10.000 more shares then they would have issued, making it like you say worth more then a company could actually be worth.

That money is disappeared, no one has it and because after three R/S you wouldn't own a share anymore, nobody notices how much money is actually lost
