KLD2 re: the PREVIOUS PHASE TESTING. The Australian Govt never came out and said YES WE ARE FUNDING THE ANAVEX 2-73 TESTS.
what was said from Caulfield Hospital in their 2015-2016 annual report was: Quote is from page 27 of the report.
"Alzheimer’s drug trial success Early research results of Anavex 2-73, a drug which aims to address the symptoms of dementia, are positive. Trials at Caulfield Hospital are using Anavex, which, unlike current medications, is the only drug designed to both relieve symptoms and slow the disease’s progression. The first phase of the trial began in December 2014 and the next steps will involve further research with a larger group of participants in 2017."

Annual Report Caulfield

see page 27 in the above report. Caulfield makes no distinction between Phase 1 2 3 etc. To them it is ONGOING research and they are continuing forward. If you then look at the small chart on that page it shows the amounts of GRANTS to Caulfield by the year. Noted on that chart is says: of the 100M AU Dollars in funding to Caulfield Research Hospital that the AU Govt donated 60M of that amount and 40M came from "Other Sources". The chart makes no reference as to how much of that 100M went to Anavex 2-73 research and how much to the other research projects.

Yesterday I posted a link that is where one would go to apply to the AU GOVT to receive a Grant/Funding.

You can call it whatever you want to call it. SOMEBODY is funding the CONTINUING TESTING of ANAVEX 2-73 through Caulfield Research Hosptial in Australia. Since the AU GOVT is sending them 60% of the funding and other sources are sending them only 40% It seems to me that the Govt of AU certainly has a hand in it.

Dr Missling has done a great job at getting SOMEONE ELSE to pay for testing of Anavex Drugs.
