Significant MYDX Research Per Unknown Investor

What you are about to read is some MYDX research that was provided too me per an investor in MYDX that have chosen to remain anonymous that do not post here within this IHub forum. I have his permission to post what he has shared with me because I believe it is significant for all MYDX shareholders to have this info within their notes regarding MYDX. If any of this have already been posted, then please forgive me for the redundancy.

Per the original Joint Development Agreement, which is up for renewal, with Next Development Technologies, Dr. William Royea was personally a very large contributor to the development of the MYDX Analyzer. He was in-house and hands on with MYDX during that time. He can also be seen as a contributor to the MYDX White Paper on it's title page. Here is who he is:
http://www.nextdimensiontech.com/management.htm
https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/nathan-s--lewis-and-william-j--royeathe-promise-of-solar-chemical-fuels

For some context, Dr. Royea's business partner, as seen in the above links, is Dr. Nathan Lewis.

Dr. Lewis has an entire department named after him at Caltech:
http://nsl.caltech.edu/home/people/nathan-s-lewis/
http://nsl.caltech.edu/home/

His initials, NSL, even precede the school in the URL… just as a FYO.

Dr. Lewis is the original Caltech developer of the electronic nose technology from NASA:
http://nsl.caltech.edu/research:nose

You can compare the sensor diagrams on the Caltech e-nose page to the MYDX white paper itself:
https://www.cdxlife.com/wp-content/uploads/MyDx_WhitePaper-1.pdf

And...

14 March 2017: Prof. Nate Lewis and group members are featured on Bill Gates’ blog following a visit to our labs last Fall.

20 October 2016: Bill Gates visits Caltech and the Lewis Group labs.

http://www.businessinsider.com/3-technologies-that-bill-gates-thinks-could-help-save-the-world-2015-11
"Gates has previously praised the research of California Institute of Technology professor Nathan Lewis, who is researching artificial photosynthesis."

http://www.caltech.edu/news/bill-gates-visits-caltech-52753
"I'm personally investing in energy and I've known Nate Lewis [George L. Argyros Professor of Chemistry at Caltech] for a long time, so I got an update on the work he's doing on solar fuels."

-Bill Gates

Here is Dr. Royea featured on the Gates Foundation site:

http://www.gatesfoundation.org/Media-Center/Press-Releases/2012/05/Breathalyzers-to-Test-Tuberculosis-and-Stamped-Leaves-to-Detect-Disease-in-Plants
"William Royea of Next Dimensions Technology, Inc., will further develop and test a prototype breathalyzer device to identify active tuberculosis in patients and to distinguish between various drug-resistant strains."

My reason in pointing this stuff out is that the device, its sensors, and its capabilities are no joke, nor were its developers.

http://www.nextdimensiontech.com/technology.htm

Dr. Royea put his face and his company's name on the Indiegogo campaign, as well as the White Paper, and was directly involved in the device's development up until this past December 2016. However, it is confirmed too within the same filing that NDT is still a partner in the big picture and it was confirmed that both parties desire to engage in future joint development projects too:

The MYDX device and cannabis testing in general are both still misunderstood by the general public for now. Also, many laboratories appear to be envious towards the device because it could potentially take away a huge chunk of their business.

Do you know any individuals who pay labs to test their personal marijuana supply? I doubt it and for good reason. It's typically around 70 dollars cash minimum per single test, requires several grams of MJ that will be destroyed, and you have to deliver the samples in person. MYDX only requires 50mg of sample. That's 70 times less sample required per test versus the lab required amount needed to test.

Also, you have to hope that the sample you give a lab is representative of what is actually smoked as dispensary weed is batch tested. Labs don't test each bit of what people buy from dispensaries, they test select pieces from a batch. Consumers have been forced to trust dispensaries who pay a possibly unscrupulous lab for results. Four different labs will give you four different results. Some labs may give better results for more return business:

INCONSISTENT CANNABIS TESTING

http://traceanalytics.com/inconsistent-cannabis-testing/
The Journal of the American Medical Association recently published findings that only 17% of cannabis products were accurately labeled for content in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle. The study randomly selected 75 products from 47 different brands and independent testing found that 17% were labeled accurately, 23% were under labeled, and 60% were over labeled with respect to THC content. Even though the testing of cannabinoid content is being required by more and more states, without a standard method to regulate labs, results will always be varied from lab to lab. State-approved laboratories are producing different results, which invalidates the legitimacy of testing altogether.

Here is a recent MUST READ Forbes article about the cannabis laboratory testing industry:

Cannabis Lab Testing Is The Industry's Dirty Little Secret:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/debraborchardt/2017/04/05/cannabis-lab-testing-is-the-industrys-dirty-little-secret/#330c840a1220

There is definitely intrinsic consumer demand for the device, but IMO, education about cannabis analysis is key.

I think I may have found a little gold nugget possibly. I'm not sure how much you made it through the Next Dimension Technologies and Dr. William Royea stuff that I sent you but I just came across an exclamation point!

It turns out that our same Dr. William Royea of Next Dimension Technologies also owns a firm named LPR Capital Inc.:
https://www.wealthminder.com/financial-advisors/advisory-firms/LPR-capital-inc/crd/111580

http://www.LPRcapital.com/

LPR Capital Inc. shows assets of $31,149,221 as of September 2016 and Dr. Royea is a registered Broker Dealer with CRD# 5025461 since 11/20/2015:

https://www.brightscope.com/financial-planning/firm/657860/LPR-Capital-Inc/

https://brokercheck.finra.org/search/genericsearch/grid

https://www.adviserinfo.sec.gov/IAPD/IAPDIndvlSummary.aspx?INDVL_PK=5025461

Extremely Interesting stuff as Dr. Royea was so integral in the analyzer's development.

Here is more concise info on Dr. Royea and LPR Capital. The information has just been updated on 3/31/2017:

Here's some info on the device and app. to add to our MYDXnotes:

1. How can I access an HPLC profile of my test run?
For the first test, it automatically GC Reference DB. To access the HPLC breakdown, you have to save, load the sample tested, click update results, and you will see the HPLC interpretation of your MyDx Sensor response.

2. Can the MyDx Analyzer with CannaDx sensor be used to analyze oils, concentrates, edibles, etc?
At this time, the CannaDx sensor is only designed to analyze DRY Cannabis Flower. We plan to test oils for residual solvents and other chemicals are considering oils, etc. in a future release. We are also working on an application to help growers know when to harvest by testing wet cannabis flower. In the meantime, PLEASE DO NOT TEST ANYTHING OTHER THAN DRY CANNABIS FLOWER or MYDX CERTIFIED SAMPLES OR YOU MAY DETERIORATE YOUR SENSOR ELEMENTS AND VOID YOUR WARRANTY.[/i

13. How can I get a Online Doctor Evaluation to get a prescription for Cannabis?
MyDx customers can get online evaluations at www.MeadowMD.com. New Evaluations are $100. Renewals are $50. MyDx Customers receive a 20% discount if they use CODE: “MYDX”.
