There is SEC regulation 13d and 13g. Where you are required to report to the SEC if you hold 5% of a company. Maybe they noticed you are close to that amount and trying to figure out if some paper work needs to be sent to the SEC.

The other thing could be trading going on in their dark pool and other dark pools.

They have to understand that lower fees are going to cause people to trade more.

Just check on finra.org no shares were shorted today on IJJP.

They also could be checking to see if your shares will be available for lending out to shorts.
