Hey, Bull Dolphin.

I bought the Quikrete anchoring epoxy at Home Depot and couldn't read the tiny print. I went into the website and found the instructions. They call for a "high, quality, high strength" dispenser. I checked that out and found a recommended dispenser at $25.

I called Home Depot again and told him about the recommended costly dispenser, see if others had been able to use a regular caulk gun. He said he knew about the Quikrete stuff and recommended I go instead with Simpson Set XP that can be used with a regular caulking gun. The Quikrete product cost me $23 and he said the Simpson product is $20.

I will return the Quikrete product and get the Simpson epoxy. If I had bought the new dispenser and used the Quikcrete epoxy the cost would have been $48, all of this for two anchor bolts! Plus the gas for a couple of trips into town.
