She was threatening him figuratively to make a point that he was doing something disgusting and illegal and she wasn't going to stand for it. When someone does something to your dislike and you reply figuratively "I'm going to kill you!" does it mean you are threatening them and are really going to kill them? I think it is great what she did. Unfortunately there aren't enough people who will speak out. I had that exact same thing happen to me once on a subway train. I was 23 years old and a guy sitting across from me whipped out his wazoo and started pleasuring himself while looking at me - and there was no backpack covering him. I never was so scared in my life. It was a horrible situation. When I got off the train and I met up with my husband (he was my boyfriend at the time) he knew the second he saw me that something happen. When I told him he went ballistic and wanted to find the guy!

And, you still never answered as to whether or not you'd force them to drag you off the flight?
If I really had to be somewhere I probably would have sat there in objection too. If that were a female being dragged like that I bet most guys wouldn't think twice if she screamed the way that guy did. Somehow his behavior appears unmanly to some. Gordon Bethune referred to him as immature.
