April 7-The wind continued. All day. Not as warm as Thursday, but the afternoon did manage to counteract the chill factor. I even dug up watermelon hill #11.

Some progress today. Jerry said I could bring him lettuce and tomato plants Monday afternoon. He's getting closer to operating a stand on 36th st at least five days a week. He has so many contacts out there who will bring their goods for him to sell.

Mohammed worked on the busted pvc pipe. Maybe he'll finish next week. Willie weed whacked around the property. I stopped him from applying the Spectracide.

Over at the glass shop, Snapper dismantled a crate made with 2x4s. I carried all that lumber and threw it over the fence. I'll come back for it later. Now I can resume building the row of boxes next to the slope.

My plants are getting bigger. More new leaves.

Tonight, the forecast calls for a low below 40. Some are calling for 33. My youngest plants will flop over, but they won't die. As the sun comes up, the air in the greenhouse will quickly warm and they'll recover. My first Rosa Bianca eggplants may need repotting.

Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
