$BRKK iSeeAutomation has been involved since its inception with major industries, developing, manufacturing and installing high efficient vision guided robotic automation solutions that are used to ensure consistent product quality in many manufacturing processes.

One day, iSee’s founder, Chris Stramacchia was fooling around with his kids – playing hockey in their driveway. He thought it would help his kids to see what they were doing and attached a camera onto their helmets. His uncle came over later and thought…wow. Convinced they had a great idea, they utilized some contacts and found themselves showing this crudely made device to executives with Rogers…and were promptly laughed out of the office. The executives did say, however, that if the design was refined, and (this is the important part) able to broadcast to live TV (who wants to watch the shot after the game?) they could come back.

Little did the executives realize that giving Chris a challenge, almost a dare, was what made Chris tick.

Six months later, Chris had his prototype and got the trial he needed.

In January 2016 the “iSee Refcam” at the NHL All-Star game in Nashville, TN, USA.
