My take on their technologies:

Fundamental technology improvement is not an innovation so much so as an intelligent application. No one questions whether heat pumps work. Its can they be applied in an technically and cost effective manner to a given problem. The problems they address do not seem technically very challenging to address with heat pumps. So this isn’t rocket science. Its a melding of experiences (NASA technologies applied to terrestrial industries).

Generators - Working on since inception. They want to license them. Last update was buried in last years 10 K. It reported was an external application of their heat pump system (versus integrated into the design) was tested in Oct 2015 at a Kato Engineering (a division of Emerson) facility. This test failed in that the generator outfitted with their external cooling unit had undesirable variations in measurements. They didn’t say what measurements. They said the engineers present thought they could come up with a design adjustment to address. No update or news reported since. Prior to this test a letter to share holders in Apr 2015 said they expected several generator licenses by years end. Best guess is that the Kato failure resulted in loss or delay of those licenses. Technical it is unlikely the problem can’t be addressed, it is who is going to put up the $$ and time to fix the design problem that is likely on WARM and they haven’t had the $$. Meaning with funding this could come into play again.

Submersible Pumps - Working on since inception. In early 2016 they announced they had completed the casts for the products and were bringing them to market and that they were in the process of going through pre-production testing. No updates or news since. To do this they would need $$ to build and test the product to verify it worked as design. In 2016 they had no $$ so I think this could not proceed. No indication of a technical cause for its lack of progress.

MG - Not sure if originally planned or came a few years into the company. Initially announced they would go to market in spring of 2014. They set up the concept of the ultimate power truck company to market it, and announced a demo for key stake holders. A few weeks after the planned demo they supposed to demonstration the technology at that years work truck convention. Instead they took cardboard descriptions to the convention. I believe key stake holders declared the product not ready for prime time and recommended against making it public until it was. No more news on product until fall of 2016. Then it was announced insiders would personally fund the completion of the design for the mobile generation. Another demonstration was done in Jan 2017 after which the took the working product to the national car show and shared video on line. This is likely to be the first source of revenue as Craftsmans Industries seems to have adopted the technology as a product they want to offer, and even feature in their mobile and industrial market places.

Brakes - just barely started. Likely 3 to 5 years away.
