April 4-The soil in these beds is so friable the rainstorm Monday afternoon and evening showed no signs of standing water.

Jerry emailed me late Monday evening and said he would be around on Wednesday. I will phone him around 10. These tomato plants have to go into soil soon or they will become pot bound.

More of the latest sowings have shown results. I saw a few more basil seedlings. Tiny things at first. Even smaller were the specks of green in the cups where I sowed Toothache plant seed. I made 16 more newspaper cups when I returned to the apartment.

Since 2015 I've noticed tomato plants volunteering in the beds. The bed closest to the mobile office has some volunteers. I marked them with metal rods to dig up later once they get a little bigger. I think they will be Sungold tomatoes.

I brought four plastic salad containers with four empty newspaper cuts in each to the farm, and the packet of asparagus seeds. I took the bus to Dollar General for another bag of potting soil. I sifted it with the spaghetti strainer and filled each cup with the loose soil. Before sow the seed I soaked them for a few hours in the greenhouse.

I took another afternoon nap in the shady area next to the wall. Then I sowed some spinach seed and completed watermelon hill #10.

Drema took an image of the asparagus seed and packet. They're about the size of a BB.

Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
