Not talking about equity REITs. Many have done well. I'm referring to mREITs, Mortgage REITs, complex investments that often pay fat dividends monthly. Basically there're highly leveraged bond funds that own no real estate. They're dangerous.

Anyone who need monthly divs needs reliable monthly divs.
