The piece of stock boone junior bought was 1,783,746 shares @ .90/share - he borrowed $2,100,000 from the bank - so, his cost is 1.17/share - he's underwater with transaction costs and the additional interest expense, now accruing - that's why he had to send all proceeds from his most recent insider transaction directly to the bank.
And it wasn't a "hedge fund", it was a disgruntled long time shareholder who was threatening to proxy fight the CEO out of his job because of the pathetic job he was doing.
