In October, NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE announced 27 teams representing six countries that would be advancing to Phase 2
of the Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA) and NRG Energy competition.
Under partnership terms, XPRIZE teams may access the CCCI-operated commercialization centre in B.C.’s Lower Mainland,
which aims to accelerate development and scale-up to commercial use of innovations to capture and convert CO2 from industrial sources.
