Gotta love how Eric distracts from the real issues in his blog posts:

For example, he blogs about how there was no authorization for a copyright filing by the DC photographer, and that the case has now been formally dismissed by the court.

What he fails to mention is that the reason for the lawsuit in the first place was that Eric failed to pay the photographer, for work the photographer did at Eric's specific request, which resulted in photographs that Eric used on the blog to tout the success of the opening night of the movie in the DC market.

According to the filings, the photographer made repeated requests for payment, for over a year, which were all ignored, or answered with claims that the bill had already been paid, which was of course false. Finally, when the photographer could see he would never be paid without legal action, he filed the lawsuit, and alleged every possible thing he could, include the copyright claim. That's the way lawsuits are done.

Now Eric points to the copyright claim, while failing to address the cost of defending the lawsuit, plus the cost of settlement, which surely exceeded the original $1,000 by many thousands of dollars.

He never admits to mistakes-- always someone else's fault. That's a pathological liar.
