Wrong. There is no such thing as a "pre-trial". A trial is either a trial, or it is not. Them taking a device and having someone smoke weed and blow into it, off the record, means nothing. A true trial will require calibrated technology which takes into account the complex rate of degradation of active 9-THC in the blood stream, and measure at price time points following smoking to generate detection decay curves, figure out what time window the device works for, and then through all of this, tease out how the device will be able to detect active smoking from people who just have a ton of metabolites in their blood from smoking previously. This is a real time dynamic process, and pharmacodynamics matter as well. They haven't even proven the device is ready for stand alone use. This is still connected to a fridge size multi million dollar mass spectrometer.

They haven't shown any data, they haven't proven anything, in fact, they just pumped an article without showing absolutely anything, and people like you jump on it like it means something.

You, like many others, highly underestimate the difficulty of demonstrating this actually works - if it even does work...

I am holding long, this is going to take years, get real - this news means nothing.
