Bfost ...I believe I was referring to hetero FH patients ...not all Statin user's .

Personally I think if you are over 50 and have any family history of CAD, CKD or diabetes its good to get a blood test once a year .
Mine are very detailed ...beyond LDL, TG's etc it shows HGBA1c ( diabetes ) GFR ( kidney function ) Potassium and Sodium levels , PSA etc ...and since some of us are pro active ...allows me to make informed decisions .
