This is the first time that I've seen stated that one of the effects of exposure to polyurethane foam is 'CANCER', not that I have any doubts. It's been suspected.

'Babies spend on average 12 hours or more each day lying on mattresses or padding that has polyurethane foam. While in its solid form, the foam emits a small amount of toxins into the air. Over time, the toxins are breathed in and the result may be several medical conditions that range from allergies and allergic reactions up to more serious illnesses that may include reduced function of the lungs, asthma, and in rarer cases, cancer.'
