Hussain Iraq, (perfect terrain for shock and awe warfare continuing the 1991 war SH said he won); then the dems started the body count -- headlines every time we lost a war fighter -- and B. Hussain Obama came into office and the war was lost (suspended ?) until another big hit happens to the USA -- a nuke on NYC or WDC -- waterboarding is out, so we just wait, unless, maybe somewhere, somehow, somebody is interrogating IslamicTerrorists for useful information
but, as you say, politics can get in the way of clear thinking
