I could not make any money day trading, I literally got tired of stocks moving in pennies.

I went back to work, I really needed extra money for spending, at 66 you can have a plan, but it never quite works out. Besides Grandchildren have a wonderful way of creating extra moments that require extra money.
As for Trump, his healthcare bill went down in flames, thank god. If the Republicans were smart, they would find ways to improve upon Obamacare. First the Red States could finally support the Medicaid Expansion, that would give coverage to another 10 Million Americans, quickly. Then they could support healthcare companies actually giving coverage in those states.
The only thing good I have heard is crossing state lines to give more competition. But they would also have to take their hands out of the back pockets of the healthcare companies. Now that would be hard for them.
If Trump was smart, and he isn't, he would take this defeat and lay it on the Republicans, of course this will kill his chances on getting anything accomplished in his term of office. Maybe Trump can just go back to Florida, play golf, continue to gorge on fast food, and do is stupid tweets. That way Obama's legacy will just keep rolling along.
The American economy is doing just fine, it might not be robust, but I will take 2 % steady growth any day. Every time the Republicans try to make the economy go faster they take away the safeguards that keep greedy people in check.
Awaiting the birth of my newest Grandchild, less than two weeks to go. Recovering from the storm, lost my computer to an electrical surge of some kind, and Mary's outside air compressor came off its slab, and now looks a little sick. Wind can tear them up, especially a 70MPH gust.
It is getting close to the 80s down here, and we never even had a winter, let alone cold weather, so an air conditioning unit is quite necessary. My first real winter of using my air conditioner more than I used heat, amazing.
