Why a 3 month Ph 3 trial Antti to prove bryostatin's safety and efficacy in Alzheimers patients? Why not just give one dose, like the joke that was the Ph 2a trial, and then follow up for testing 3 hrs later and call it a day/trial (apparently in the compassionate use patient that's only how long it took for improvement. A "miracle"! to quote Alkon. Case closed, cure found! Lol). Why drag things out for 3 long months? Shareholders should be complaining about unnecessary waste and delay!

According to Antti's logic, Aricept reversed/cured Alzheimers years ago based on its 3 month trial results! Why isn't this news? Some kinda Russian conspiracy? Sorry Neurotrope, Phizer's Aricept beat you to the punch :(

Have you any understanding about clinical trials and what statistical significance means? I'm asking because your comment imply that you don't know even the basic principles that govern how biotech do business, develop drugs and get them approved.

Aricept has been approved for AD and widely sold, it was big NEWS. So what is the problem. It really is one of the only ones that offer any help to AD patients so I'm happy it does exist.

I haven't talked about cure, you keep mentioning it all the time. Why you keep bringing it up, cure for AD is far away imo even if e.g. Bryostatin works well.

I already told you about statistical significance and how effect size affects to it. If you don't understand what I'm talking about go ahead and google some, it will help you greatly if you continue investing to biotechs, I promise! And no, one day and single dose isn't enough to prove it, there's probably too much background noise for that (or even if it could, it's too risky approach given the time needed to develop protocol, get approval and all the other stuff needed for good trial). But three months is very different story. And yes, longer trials are needed too, but not in phase 2b since this is the trial to validate that we indeed have an effect at all.
