A little bit about us
Chapman Aerospace LLC was founded in 2014 and is part of the Chapman Aerospace Group (Chapman Aerospace LTD.) headquartered in Bermuda.
Currently we have operation in the USA, and Germany, with plans to expand into more countries.
Chapman Aerospace LLC is our US based company, and is headed by Justin Chapman who started to tinker with and fly remote controlled helicopters at the age of 12. By the age of 14 he started to work with a remote helicopter manufacturer and learned the trade of manufacturing and building them from the ground up.
As a young man he became a Drone pilot and started to work with major movie studios. Although busy flying Drones, he found the time to acquire his full size helicopter license, which allowed him to keep working in the aerial movie and photography business while the FAA had grounded all Drone flights for commercial use.
In 2007 he became the RC UAV Acrobatics World Champion.
We have been called when high precision and safety is required and/or when difficult and extreme conditions call for the expertise we can deliver.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is recognizing Justin Scott Chapman with inclusion in the prestigious FAA Airmen Certification Database.
The database, which appears on the agency's website at www.faa.gov, names Chapman and other certified pilots who have met or exceeded the high educational, licensing and medical standards established by the FAA.
