First - Smart money usually refers to either insiders or serious institutional investors not some random dude on Seeking Alpha - so to clarify that for you

Second - the author had 47K invested - that is not alot of money and yet he said he was 'over his skis' in past articles in terms of his investment (too much allocated) - this clearly isn't a serious, wealthy, big name investor or institutional holder, but rather a decently researching retailer


Third - according to institutional holding information - the SMART MONEY has actually been adding. Add to the totals in the infomation in the link below an additional 14 mil shares for Kopernick who filed a 13G in Feb stating that they have 20 mil shares now not 6 (as that info is dated).
