Above 20%, SIAF will use the equity method. They will report their share of the profits from Triway and add it to EPS.
When it drops below 20%, they will use the fair value method. Now, the number of shares multiplied buy the share price in HK will be booked. And it can go up or down.
With the latter approach, we should see at least 50% of the value in HK reflected in SIAF's market cap. I'm curious though.
