Come on man....like you've never been deluded? We all have. It's part of the human condition to live in delusion on some things some part of the time. It may be one of the mental defenses against insanity.

What should Gene have known and when should he have realized it? Is there anyone who can give a definitive answer to that question, who has not being "guilty" of making the same error.

I will go so far as to say that anyone who has ever owned NNVC shares, including me, has been subject to a delusion. But can you say for sure you would have achieved a state of enlightenment if you were making a few hundred K per year to continue to believe the NNVC story? I don't think anyone can say that. I know I can't.
