Seymour probably did believe the poorly spoken chemical engineer with no significant publications, 12 years ago.

But after a decade, did Seymour still believe?

Did he ever really believe he had a platform that could create a new drug for any viral infection in a few weeks?

Did he continue to believe after a decade of failure?

On Jan 2016, Seymour had ELEVEN well-compensated years of experience to help him gauge his optimism. But what did he tell investors?

Too bad he didn't defer salary for stock options, as any overly optimistic incompetent bungler would have done.
