I think there is still some confusion. The SEC is not the one doing the posting. They provide a place (EDGAR) for filers to post financial documents. The content of those postings is not determined by the SEC, and often, not checked for truthfulness. Sometimes it is checked, and the SEC requests that corrections be made in the form of an amendment.

Really odd that not all experienced traders understand this.
