There are a lot of developing countries that have big decisions to make as their agricultural sectors start being opened up to the West. Cuba, for one, has developed into a Sustainable Agriculture success story--out of financial necessity. But you can bet that Monsanto is chomping at the bit to introduce Roundup and GMO farming practices there.

If Cuba could just take the time to maintain its organic practices with Western organic and non-GMO inputs, Cuba could become the "go to" place for organic food imports (exports for Cuba) after they feed their people.
