Chuck Berry, wild man of rock who helped define its rebellious spirit, dies at 90 http://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/chuck-berry-wild-man-of-rock-who-helped-define-its-rebellious-spirit-dies-at-90/ar-BBylukP?li=BBnb7Kz Very thorough obit by the Washington Post. Would have died if writer Terence McArdle hadn't mentioned piano player Johnnie Johnson. And, they spelled his name correctly, too. On weekends, he sang at the Cosmopolitan Club in East St. Louis, Ill., with a group led by pianist Johnnie Johnson, who later played on many of Mr. Berry’s records. Mr. Berry used a tape recorder to work on his songwriting. Please toss this up on Drummer & Missy's for me. Thanks.
