March 17-The forecast of 60 for the high took a long time to get there. Maybe it hit 60 by 2:30. I should have layered up when I headed out in the morning. I did when I returned to the apartment for more tomato plants to transport back to the farm.
My plan was to take everything, but all the bus riding wore me out. I'll take the pepper plants Saturday morning.
The buses on Tryon Street will detour from 10 to 2 due to the St. Patrick's Day parade. It's not the biggest parade for Charlotte, but it is one of the most charming. So do the dogs. Dog lovers take their pedigreed pooches to show them off to the crowd lining the street. The vendors do a bang up business and the beer lovers suck them down at the SIP lounge on the corner with 5th.
I better take as many plants as I can in one trip. I want to take in the parade, too.
Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
