The only time a bid is a seller is if they're panic selling under the ask. If that happens and volume is lacking then the sell order instantly becomes the new ask. To buy something that won't drop to the bid price some get impatient and move to the ask to get filled.
IMHO, as ARTH sets up for its new run, quite possibly as a pincher on the charts, that big bid may only get partially filled and then vanish in an attempt to drop the bid lower. The ask side sees the bid drop so they drop down with it. The games of manipulation are never ending.
edit: The more I think about my scenario the more I go nuts. lol Someone has to move one way or the other to move the stock.
