Idun, co-founded by Nobel Prize winner H. Robert Horvitz, Ph.D. for his work in the apoptosis field, was uniquely positioned as a leading expert in translating apoptosis research into drug development candidates. Emricasan was Idun’s lead program when Pfizer acquired the company for $298 million in 2005.
