Incorrect, my friend. Not if both parties don't agree on a settlement. And the window of opportunity to do so, is closing for them.

Now, if it's goes to a final written decision, then that's a different story. But, if not, why would VPLM settled, if it isn't for a licensing agreement and so forth? I bet Unified Patents wish they had settled. They might of pick up a great deal at that time. Now, the value has gone up, if VPLM wins the IPR. Reason enough for any involved to do so. It's called negotiations. And trust me, VPLM is not settling, unless these a good licensing agreement or $ 2 billion, plus offer!
