I'm not surprised that Twitter has not file an IPR b/c they do not want to stretch out this process to further delay their buyout. It doesn't benefit them to do so. I believe Twitter's settlement will include their potential buyer's agreement and take part in the negotiations. Twitter will wait just for the right time to approach VPLM. I believe Twitter will be the straw that breaks the camels back.
