Hedge funds do this with complicated AI algorithms.

They use them for HFT scalping of pennies, they use them to manipulate a stock up and down create MOMO revenue (sucking people into buying a rising or sinking stock then reverse course) and thy use them to "create liquidity" to sell shares to institutional buyers.

We can't hope to use data like the hedge funds, but we can try to be more aware of their actions.

In retrospect, I was amazed at how they controlled trading on TTPH for over a year until the timing was right. I think a study of TTPH would be most informative for TRVN - both are known to have successful p3 results and got crashed.

TTPH had and IV and an oral version, the IV met endpoints but they had to reformulate and re-do the p3 on the oral. The powers that be held it down until the time was close and have started to accumulate.

As I said, the fundamental question of WHEN is important. In this case WHEN and even HOW will the negative case against TRVN be resolved?
