She was appointed "chief regulatory affairs" in February of last year:
"Dr. Chansky will discontinue her private medical practice and devote all of her time to CTI.
'This is a significant step forward for the Company,” said Calmare Therapeutics President & CEO Conrad Mir. 'She will be instrumental in establishing CTI as a medical device powerhouse in the chronic neuropathic pain and wound ailment space.'”
I presume they wanted to get rid of her after this only a couple of months later:
"A Westfield woman was arrested for illegally distributing nearly 1,400 perscription pills and practicing medicine without a license, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park and Westfield Police Chief David Wayman jointly announced Thursday....She also had her New York State medical license suspended in May 2015, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) suspended her from writing prescriptions in any state in September 2015."
To be fair, I can't find that anything came of that case. The curious thing is that she's demanding a jury trial:
"COMPLAINT against CALMARE THERAPEUTICS, INC., CONRAD F. MIR ( Filing and Admin fee $ 400 receipt number 0312-7615023) with JURY DEMAND, filed by CHRISTINE CHANSKY."
You got to admit it's kind of funny to see the chief regulatory officer of a company advertising drug-free pain relief getting busted for distributing narcotics!
