1) It inspires people to put away their electronic devices and interact with each other. There are rarely any laptops sitting around and you forget about your phone... this is awesome imo and probably a big reason why people love going there with friends and loved ones
Castanie is no totalitarian, just a man who believes that a lack of connectivity and a surplus of board games is good for the soul.

2) Its a great place for a first date, from young to old... It takes your mind off the awkwardness of a first date and influences laughter and interaction
3) The place is often packed... Instead of not going at all, people are changing their schedules to fill up slower hours, which is huge imo.
They average $3,500,000+ per location and they can make them even bigger and still fill them up... This is proven by them relocating (to increase size), then opening a 2nd larger location and packing them both... and customers STILL complain about seating
The next location (currently being built) will the biggest of them all + it will have outdoor seating, catering, etc. Imagine if it adds $4,500,000+ in revs on top of the $7+ million they made last year? Sure makes this 7 million market cap seem cheap, eh?
... then add in the exclusive distribution deal for 3 hot games, GROzone, Interloc Kings, etc...
