This may not be directly related to computer learning, but I have a question about email notifications from banks as transactions are processed through your accounts.

I bank with a Credit Union. The made a big change to their website over a year ago. Since then Ive noticed my bank notifications, that Ive requested as debti/credit and deposits/withdrawls are made, come as much as 24-36 hours late. My checks processed notifications don't come at all even though I've enabled that function. After my last complaint on Feb 21, I've received no emails notifying me of my transactions.

I've asked the credit union numerous times about this but they can't explain why some of their accounts get late notices. I have a well known and large email service, Comcast. So its not some obscure service.

Is anybody else having this problem? The whole point of email notificiations is be notified timely, as transactions post, so the owner of said accounts can see if your account has been hacked and money is being stolen. A friend of mine, who owns a bar, said she gets her notices late too. She uses Bank Of America. PS - Debit transactions are immediately taken out of your account, so they should show up immediately as an email notification. They did before they moved to this new website. But now they don't process timely.
