Not even looking to go long until big decline comes close. However, how to time it is always the key. Livingstone said he went broke four times calling the market correctly.

Shorting on spikes seems like a very good way to go for now. Bill Luby from vixandmore.blogspot.com talks about that quite a bit. I am even considering subscribing to his service.
